Although a lot of parents of FFA children swear that FFA stands for "father feeds animals" it actually is a great organization that my family has been apart of for years.  My boy Matt raised pigs and chickens with not only FFA but 4-H as well, and my daughter Trenna raised pigs, New Zealand rabbits and chickens.  As any FFA or 4-H kid will attest to, it is a big job for a youngster if it is done right, and as my father always said, "a job worth doing is a job worth doing right"
